Job description

Job Summary/Company:  We are seeking a mid-level Full Stack Engineer to develop, test, deploy, and support mission-critical software applications. The three primary technical requirements are hands-on Golang development, strong Git experience, and application containerization using Docker and/or Kubernetes. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a security clearance. Position is hybrid in Tampa, FL. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang.
  • Manage source code through Git-based workflows, including branching, merging, pull requests, code reviews, and controlled releases.
  • Build, containerize, deploy, and troubleshoot applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes while collaborating with software, systems, and security teams.

Qualifications:

  • Mid-level software-development experience with hands-on professional programming experience using Golang.
  • Strong Git experience within a collaborative development environment.
  • Experience building, deploying, or supporting containerized applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Additional experience with React or another modern frontend framework, REST APIs, SQL or NoSQL databases, Linux, cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD, automated testing, and formal software-development practices is preferred.
