Mid-Level Transportation Analyst Position
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

Location: This is an office-based telecommuting position. This position is designed to be eligible for up to full time telecommuting, but personnel must live within approximately one hour commuting distance to Charlottesville, VA. Your base work location will be BCG’s office located at 212 East High Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902.

Spend your days
- Document Review & Management: Review incoming agency materials, flag issues, and manage file organization and distribution through transportation systems.
- Tracking & Coordination: Maintain and update tracking sheets; ensure materials are sent to the right SMEs and responses are received on time; coordinate task completion across the team.
- Workflow & Process Support: Help develop and document workflow processes and escalation protocols; learn and assist with document submission routing and management.
- Scheduling & Meeting Support: Coordinate internal meeting schedules and invites; support preparation of agendas, materials, and onsite schedules.
- Meeting Notes & Reporting: Work with team members to capture meeting minutes, action items, and due dates; provide regular updates and status reports to managers.
- Provide general safety management investigation and state safety oversight support as directed
Bring with you
● Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited school.
● Strong written and oral communication skills.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and accurately disseminate information.
● A customer service mindset.
● Interest in public transportation industry.
● Presentation and report-writing skills.
● Microsoft Office fluency.
● At least 1 year of professional experience working with transit operations data or information systems.
● Experience working with Jira software desired, but not required.
● Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
● Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance.
