They are skilled in languages such as C# or VB.NET and are responsible for developing both front-end and back-end components, debugging code, and collaborating with senior developers and other team members. Their experience allows them to handle moderately complex projects independently while still seeking guidance on more advanced topics.

How does a Mid Level .NET Developer typically collaborate with front-end developers and other team members?

As a Mid Level .NET Developer, you will frequently work alongside front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and QA specialists to ensure seamless integration between the backend and user-facing components. Collaboration often involves participating in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning meetings to align on project goals and timelines. Effective communication is key, as you'll need to translate technical backend requirements into actionable items for other team members, troubleshoot integration issues, and contribute to shared documentation. This teamwork-driven environment fosters both technical growth and a deeper understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

  • 5-10 years of experience in planning, design, or construction of water-related projects
  • Experience related to preparing conceptual/feasibility studies, development of construction drawings and specifications, bidding assistance, and support of office and field-related construction services
  • Familiarity with engineering and construction management software
  • Capable of supervising staff and managing small projects
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and be capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
  • Proficiency in computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case)

  • Short and long-term disability, and employer paid life insurance
  • Paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid time off (PTO)
  • Employer-contributed 401(k) plan and additional financial planning support
  • Professional growth opportunities, including tuition reimbursement, in-house training, and incentives for professional registration and professional organization memberships
