Role: Mid-level Commercial Construction Manager

Location: Sparks, NV- On-Site

Duration: 3-6+ Month Contract to Hire

Note: - Need only W2 candidate for this role.

KEYS:

  • Commercial/Industrial Construction
  • Ideally looking for someone who knows most disciplines; Fire suppression, electrical, mechanical, crane. We tend to manage all disciplines.
  • CSA/workplace scopes experience preferred. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Or Electrical Engineering
  • Familiar w/ pre-construction for design ,scheduling, mitigation, order equipment, panels, RTUs, etc.
  • Ability/interested FTE Conversion

What to Expect

  • As a Construction Manager, you will be playing a critical role in expanding high-tech manufacturing facilities and production lines in Sparks, NV. You will have opportunity to manage continuously evolving exciting projects with contracting strategies involving both trades and subcontractors, while closely collaborating with infrastructure engineering, procurement, manufacturing engineering, project controls, commissioning, quality, end users, and executive teams. The ideal candidate for this role will have in-depth experience building high-tech mega projects and be comfortable leading and inspiring large teams.?

What You'll Do

  • Develop comprehensive project scopes, covering Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, Process, Life Safety, Civil, and Architectural aspects
  • Create innovative plans to reduce budget and shorten schedules; present ideas to executive leaders and drive their implementation
  • Lead construction and startup sequences, ensuring designs are constructible and addressing technical challenges promptly
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to establish biddable work packages, verifying contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates
  • Develop, communicate, and refine logistics and project plans; interface with engineering, construction, contracts, and commissioning teams
  • Create templates and standards for future projects, maintaining high-quality standards for engineering drawings and contractor installations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, swiftly responding to inquiries and resolving technical barriers, ensuring efficient project execution

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, or Technical Field, evidence of exceptional experience, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience leading work and/or construction teams for industrial and commercial projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
