Job description

The Trustbridge Foundation, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a passionate and relationship-focused Philanthropy Manager to help advance our mission through strategic donor engagement and fundraising excellence in the Broward County area. In this highly visible role, you will cultivate meaningful relationships with mid-level donors, identify and develop future major gift prospects, and create engagement opportunities that inspire philanthropy and deepen donor commitment. You will collaborate with organizational leaders, care teams, and community stakeholders to connect donors with the life-changing impact of our work while helping grow a sustainable culture of giving across the organization.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm; Hybrid; Will be in the field for fundraising 50% of the time

What you'll Do
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level donors through strategic cultivation, stewardship, solicitation, and moves management practices.
  • Develop and execute donor engagement initiatives, campaigns, events, and personalized outreach strategies that increase donor retention and giving.
  • Analyze donor interests, giving patterns, and engagement data to identify opportunities for philanthropic growth and advancement to major gift giving.
  • Partner with internal teams to uncover compelling stories and funding opportunities that connect donors to our mission and impact.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Foundation by representing the organization at donor meetings, community events, stewardship activities, and fundraising functions.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising activity within donor management systems to support effective relationship management and reporting.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree and experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, philanthropy, or a related field; CFRE designation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success building donor relationships and achieving fundraising goals through thoughtful cultivation and stewardship strategies.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and inspire support.
  • Experience with donor databases, moves management methodologies, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A genuine passion for mission-driven work, community engagement, and creating meaningful donor experiences that drive lasting impact.
  • Preference will be given to those with experience in handling all aspects of a major 5k walk
