Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist to provide per diem coverage at Wellington Regional Medical Center

Your Role at a Glance
  • Staffing Model:
    • 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
    • 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
    • 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
  • Responsibilities:
    • Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
    • Attend high-risk deliveries
    • Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
About Wellington Regional Medical Center

WRMC is a 233-bed acute care hospital serving western Palm Beach County. It offers advanced neonatal intensive care through a 25-bed Level III NICU, with a focus on:

  • Evidence-based protocols
  • Neonatologist-attended high-risk deliveries
  • Specialized care for 23–30 week premature infants

Qualifications
  • Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
  • Active FL license or IMLC required
