Amentum is a trusted partner to United States government agencies, allied governments, and corporations worldwide and we are looking for you to support our Strategic Microelectronics program as a Mid-Level Radiation Test Electrical Engineer. You might be just who we are looking for!

Essential Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will perform a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems and generally as a member of a design, analysis or review team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of design development, analysis or review tasks under some supervision

  • Support radiation testing of microelectronic components

  • Design a portion or section of an analysis or design review.

  • Generate sections of design specifications for more complex projects or complete specifications of less complex projects.

  • Prepare, deliver and submit technical presentations for in-process design and review meetings.

  • Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.

  • Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related scientific field, and at least 7 to 12 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.

  • Ability to travel, as required.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in modeling and simulation, experimental design, or testing of radiation-hardened electronics.

  • Master's degree in engineering, or related scientific field, and 13 + years of job-related experience or equivalent

  • Experience with hardware security and trusted electronics issues.

  • Experience with semiconductor fabrication tools and processes

  • Active Secret Clearance

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90K - $130K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Compensation Details:

$90,000 -$130,000 annually
