Job description

MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented IT Support Specialists to join our team in Oahu Hawaii and Dallas Texas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Approves and monitors the technical support workflow for a diverse range of hardware and software platforms.
* Coordinate the resolution of escalated technical issues involving network connectivity and enterprise applications.
* Authorize the distribution of IT assets and the maintenance of detailed equipment inventories for organizational accountability.
* Oversee the day-to-day operation of Information Technology and Security Groups within a regional distribution framework.
* Coordinate technical assistance for forward-deployed personnel to ensure the continuous availability of critical mission systems.
* Validate the setup and maintenance of secure IT infrastructure required for large-scale military exercises in the Pacific.
* Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
NOTE: Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience. Please see below. Minimum Qualifications: Senior Level * High school diploma and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (A bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of 2 years of additional experience).
* Professional-level IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+). Mid Level * High school diploma and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (A bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of 2 years of additional experience).
* Foundational IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+). Junior Level * CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
* Ability to follow established technical SOPs and maintain accurate technical records. Preferred Qualifications: * 12+ years of position-relevant experience.
* Experience working in a military IT help desk or network operations center.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting military-unique software and hardware. Clearance Required: * Must hold an active Secret Clearance Physical Requirements: * The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
