Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Engineering & Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
Responsibilities
  • Performs research, collection, and collation of data from studies. Responsible for the compilation of data and preparation of inputs into larger reports.
  • Performs assessments and projections as part of analysis process. Analyzes factors and components of complex systems to recommend and institute changes to increase efficiency.
  • Plans studies of work problems and procedures, such as organizational changes, communication, information flow, integrated production methods, or cost analyses.
  • Recommends improvements of modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters.
  • Examines and analyzes current and contemplated operations for developing, defining, and coordinating user requirements that will satisfy the total program need.
  • Translates user requirements into system specifications, configuration management plans, life cycle management documentation, and integrated logistics support plans.
  • Writes specifications manuals and user documentation for client or user personnel.
  • Gathers information from users, defines work problems, and designs a system and procedures to resolve problems.
  • May be assigned responsibility for the management of the function, including associated staff.

Qualifications
  • 15 years of relevant systems engineering, requirements and/or functional analysis experience.
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Possess an analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Adept at briefing executives and program IPT level leadership.
  • High Proficiency with MS Office applications, including SharePoint.

Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $170,000.00/Yr. - USD $190,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
