Job description

Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities
  • Performs research, collection, and review of program, acquisition, resource, and security-related data. Supports the preparation of inputs into reports, briefings, and other documentation.
  • Supports analysis of processes, resource requirements, acquisition activities, taskers, SAP/SCI coordination activities, and decision support materials to identify issues, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Assists with studies of management procedures, including organizational responsibilities, communication, information flow, staffing, funding, acquisition coordination, security support, and reporting processes.
  • Recommends improvements or modifications to processes, documentation, coordination methods, reporting procedures, security-related workflows, and related management activities.
  • Supports the development, coordination, and documentation of user, stakeholder, acquisition, resource, and SAP/SCI-related requirements.
  • Develops and maintains requirements documentation, action item trackers, staffing packages, meeting materials, tasker responses, risk and issue logs, SAP/SCI coordination materials, and other deliverables.
  • Coordinates with government stakeholders, USMC SAPCO representatives, program management, resource sponsors, acquisition personnel, security personnel, and technical subject matter experts to gather information, clarify requirements, and support actions.
  • Writes and updates briefing materials, reports, point papers, meeting minutes, standard operating procedures, user documentation, security-related documentation, and other materials for government and support personnel.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant functional analysis, requirements analysis, acquisition support, resource management, security support, or DoD support experience.
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Experience supporting DoD, Navy/USMC, Joint Staff, OSD, SAP/SCI, or classified environments preferred.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, coordinating, and tracking stakeholder, acquisition, resource, security, or organizational requirements.
  • Experience developing reports, briefings, point papers, meeting materials, staffing packages, trackers, and related documentation.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition, resource planning, requirements coordination, task management, SAP/SCI coordination, or staff operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $120,000.00/Yr. - USD $135,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
