JOB SUMMARY:
The Machine Operator II performs intermediate-level machining tasks with minimal supervision. This role involves programming and setting up CNC machines, interpreting complex drawings, and collaborating across departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
• Program and operate CNC machines.
• Interpret complicated engineering drawings.
• Interface with other departments to complete tasks.
• Perform self-inspection and maintain quality standards.
• Apply safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-10 years of experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Advanced understanding of materials.
• Own appropriate tools.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and height gauges.
• Set up tools and perform CNC setups.
• Use Windows-based software (Excel, email, etc.).
