Job description

At Hart & Hickman, we're looking for an Environmental Consultant who's ready to step into a larger leadership role. With 510 years of experience, you've built a solid technical foundation and proven you can deliver. At H&H, our mid-level consultants don't sit on the sidelines they lead projects, build client relationships, mentor junior staff, and help drive the future of our firm.

What You'll Do

  • Manage environmental assessment and remediation projects from planning through completion
  • Collaborate with clients, regulators, and project teams to drive successful project outcomes
  • Develop technical strategies, budgets, schedules, and high-quality deliverables
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for junior staff
  • Build relationships with clients and contribute to project growth opportunities
  • Identify ways to improve processes and support firm-wide initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • 510 years of environmental consulting experience
  • Strong experience with environmental site assessment and remediation, including:
    • Phase I and Phase II ESAs
    • Vapor intrusion assessment
    • NC Brownfields and voluntary cleanup programs
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies in North and South Carolina
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative mindset and a drive to keep growing professionally
