Job description

Position Summary

Mid-Level Software Developers support the design, development, and delivery of front-end and back-end application components in support of the customer's requirements, working both individually and as members of an Agile development team. Mid-Level Software Developers take ownership of user stories from implementation through unit testing and integration, contribute to design discussions, and support the build-out of RESTful services and application interfaces. Mid-Level Software Developers are expected to work with growing independence across the full stack while continuing to build technical depth.


Requirements

US Citizenships and TS/SCI with Polygraph (no exceptions)


Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3-6 years of relevant professional software development experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python)
  • Experience with front-end and back-end web application development
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams
  • Experience with version control and configuration management tools
  • Experience developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a development team
