Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level System Administrator (SA1 or SA2) to join our intel team. FC has a contract that provides world-wide, enterprise-scaled corporate data transport and messaging services that are highly available, reliable, and fault tolerant and critical to National Security. We are looking to add a Systems Administrator to our Bulk Data Transport Team. This team is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting worldwide high-performance bulk data transport services to the IC and Enterprise partners.
OPS On Call Coverage Details:
FC has on-call support compensation. Our OPS teams are responsible for 6 am to 6 pm standard business day coverage and 24x7 call in after-hours support. For the 6 to 6 coverage, each team coordinates their schedules to make sure the team collectively covers the 6 to 6 hours. For after-hours support, our OPS teams do 1 week on call rotations. For the ETR team each OPS member is on call every 7 to 8 weeks. New team members are not added to the on call rotation until they are trained (3 to 6 months). For the first couple rotations, teams make sure someone is available to back them up if needed.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
  • TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
  • 5 years no degree for Entry Level SA.
  • 10 Years no degree for Mid-Level SA.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:
AMF, ETR, and ITS Teams: Candidate has to have basic to strong Linux skills depending on years of experience and LCAT level they are submitted for. Responsibilities include command line system administration as well as application and data/messaging flow administration.
Additional contract or position specific required experience for this level (skills, technologies, expertise):
  • One (1) year experience in Linux, Unix, Windows or Cisco OS operating system
  • Five (5) years' experience administering Linux, Unix or Windows Operating System
  • Three (3) years' experience installing software packages such as .iso and RedHat package Managers (rpm)

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
  • Three (3) years' experience configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and administering a messaging service (such as Java Messaging Service, TIBCO, ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka)
  • Other CWIP: IAT Level I Certification, IA Baseline Certification in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system
