Technical Sales Representative - Mid-Atlantic

Technical Sales Representative – Mid-Atlantic (Maryland/Washington DC, DE, VA) preferablybased in Maryland/DC area

Role Overview

Technical Sales Representatives live and work in their assigned region, championing RedBuilt™’s products across the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) community. You’ll develop long-term relationships, influence project specifications, and support structural framing solutions from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specify efficient structural framing systems with architects and engineers
  • Conduct lunch-and-learns and product presentations for design and construction professionals
  • Develop framing concepts, prepare bids, and negotiate project contracts
  • Educate stakeholders on product applicability and align design intent with RedBuilt™ offerings
  • Track and input project leads, bids, activities and KPIs using the company CRM
  • Represent RedBuilt™ at industry associations, meetings, and trade shows
  • Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity
Skills & Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of construction industry practices and engineered wood systems
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and team-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or Business (Commensurate experience in these fields will be considered)
  • Willingness to travel within the territory and engage with the local AEC community or commercial construction sector
