Sales Representative – Extrusion Blow Molds & Tooling

Mid-America Machining, Inc. – Brooklyn, Michigan

Mid-America Machining, Inc., an established manufacturer of high-quality extrusion blow molds and tooling.  Our capabilities include container and product development, mold design and manufacturing, trim tooling, mold sampling, and mold refurbishing. We work with customers across a variety of industries and machinery platforms, providing solutions tailored to their specific manufacturing needs.

We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and working directly with customers in a technical manufacturing environment.

Our customers are located throughout the United States and around the world, so some travel is required to visit customers, attend industry events and trade shows, and support new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify and pursue new sales and business development opportunities
• Manage customer accounts and serve as a knowledgeable, responsive point of contact
• Work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to understand customer needs and technical requirements
• Communicate Mid-America Machining's products, capabilities, and solutions to prospective and existing customers
• Prepare and follow up on sales opportunities, quotes, and customer inquiries
• Visit customer facilities as needed
• Represent Mid-America Machining at trade shows and industry events
• Support customers throughout the sales process and help maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Professional, dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
• Strong sales, account management, and customer service skills
• Ability to understand and communicate technical products and manufacturing processes
• Comfortable communicating with customers in both manufacturing and corporate environments
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed
• Manufacturing, technical sales, engineering, tooling, or blow molding experience is a plus
• Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related field is a plus
