Your Day-to-Day (Role Summary):

As a dynamic and customer-focused Customer Sales Representative, you'll support our existing clients while actively developing new business opportunities. This position combines the relationship-building and service orientation of a Customer Service Representative with the drive and initiative of an Outside Sales Representative.

You will serve as the main point of contact for current customers—ensuring their needs are met with speed and professionalism—while also engaging in proactive outreach to generate leads and grow our customer base. The ideal candidate will be a natural communicator with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

You Will Be Accountable For (Responsibilities):

  • Serve as the primary liaison for existing customer accounts, maintaining regular communication via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
  • Process sales orders, returns, credits, and support logistics for timely delivery and accurate fulfillment.
  • Review terms and conditions of customer orders, including pricing, quality clauses, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage and track customer shipments, order statuses, and follow-ups using ERP and CRM systems.
  • Collect customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Accounting) to enhance the customer experience.
  • Prepare and present customer quotations and proposals using established pricing guidelines.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads and follow up on outstanding quotations to close deals.
  • Attend industry events or conduct onsite client meetings to promote company products and services.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to growth of the customer base.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, reports, and documentation.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure alignment on customer requirements and expectations.
  • Register and manage customer portals for order entry, RFQs, and updates.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on past due collections and prepare Pro Forma invoices.

You Are The Right Person For This Job If You Have These Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in customer service, inside/outside sales, or sales support (aerospace or technical industry, is a plus)
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and active listening skills
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and achieve sales targets
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Salesforce preferred)
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record of exceeding quotas and customer satisfaction KPIs
  • Confident in both inbound support and outbound sales outreach
  • Comfortable interfacing with cross-functional teams and technical customers
