Job Description
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with developing complex reports and dashboard applications in large, global organizations on a variety of BI platforms like MicroStrategy and other reporting tools
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with MicroStrategy schema objects, application objects and configuration objects.
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with various MicroStrategy Reporting Suite tools such as MicroStrategy Developer, MicroStrategy web, MicroStrategy Object Manager, MicroStrategy Command Manager, MicroStrategy Intelligence Server, MicroStrategy OLAP Services, MicroStrategy Distribution Services, MicroStrategy Analytics, MicroStrategy Transaction Services, MicroStrategy iCubes etc.
  • Excellent Knowledge and hands-on experience of error analysis, performance tuning, validation and testing of reports, dashboards on MicroStrategy platform.
  • Excellent Knowledge and hands-on experience of mapping data elements to MicroStrategy objects, implementing security model-User, Object and Data security, Creating Schedules and Subscriptions-Email, File, History List.
  • Experience & awareness of nuances on Migration to MicroStrategy platform.
  • Proficient in SQL and clear understanding of relational database models.
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to the requirements.
  • Effective communication skills with both business and technical teams.
  • Ability to work in a high paced multiple vendor global environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to their requirements
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience with MicroStrategy Reporting Suite products, and other reporting tools.
