Job Description

QlikView Developer (VA) VA-540-005-009

NT Concepts is seeking a QlikView Developer to join our on-site team in metro accessible Rosslyn, VA. 

This role will be responsible for the following duties:

Gathers and analyzes functional business application and design specification for functional activities. Translates detailed design into necessary QlikView solutions.  

Designs, develops, troubleshoot, debugs, and implements dashboards/views, load scripts, SQL database loads, and software code as necessary.  

Tests, debugs and refines the dashboard designs to produce the required product. 

Prepares required documentation, including both program level and user level documentation.  

Enhances software to reduce operating time and to improve efficiency. 



Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or other engineering discipline or the equivalent in experience and education.

Strong business/technical oral and written communication skills.

This position requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience with QlikView (specifically design and development experience).

Four (4) + years of Business Intelligence or related experience (to include: QlikView, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, or other Business Intelligence applications).

3+ years Database (Oracle, SQL Server 2000/2005) experience.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in SQL programming (PL/SQL, T-SQL Programming).

Experience in software configuration management a plus.

Knowledge of data warehousing methodology a plus.

Experience in basic web development a plus.
