Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with strong expertise in financial domains including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP). The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand complex business data and design scalable, efficient data models that support financial reporting, analytics, and compliance. This role requires deep experience in architecting modern data platforms using Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data architecture and data models.
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for finance systems (GL, AR, AP).
  • Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Build and maintain enterprise data warehouse and data lake architectures.
  • Integrate data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and other upstream sources.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Enable batch and real-time data processing using Azure-native services.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reconciliation across financial systems.
  • Support financial reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Implement data governance, lineage, and cataloging using Azure Purview.
  • Collaborate with finance, business, and engineering teams for solution delivery.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, security, and reliability of data platforms.
