TITLE: Web Developer
Onsite Location: Valencia (Santa Clarita), CA, 91355
REPORTS TO: IT Development Manager

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
looking for a Web Developer in our Valencia, CA corporate office. The Web Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the organization s websites, Intranet web pages, and other web-based systems, including web pages currently hosted by web service providers and web pages internally hosted by the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consults with management and members of the IT development team to gather information about desired web UI, intent, functions, features, data requirements, input/output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, operating system, web browser environments and interfaces to other systems
Determine web-based solutions for external and internal sites
Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors
Confirm web pages meet specifications
Analyzes code to find causes of errors
Assist staff with web-based product compatibility issues
Writes and maintains documentation specifications of changes to web pages and programs
Responsible for assuring high level of Internet search optimization
Accountable to always provide quality results in their work
Completes special projects as assigned, supporting team and organizational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years web design/development creation/modification experience
Formal code design/development lifecycle experience
Thorough experience with design using ASP.NET, .NET Core, Visual Studio, Git, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# programming and other software environments
Sound knowledge of Windows IIS, React, Angular, .NET Framework, AJAX, or other web technologies
Experience with commerce applications, nopCommerce and BigCommerce
Database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with CI/CD with GitHub Actions
Preferred experience with Docker & Linux
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams)
Creative thinker with strong design and production skills in digital mediums
Must be extremely organized and thorough with code design and associated documentation
Experience creating effective web design to maximize search engine prioritization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing business needs.
