MISSION

We build relationships and create value where others don’t.

KEY PRINCIPLES

We’re Better Together | We’re Here to Serve | We crush our egos, and we have empathy for teammates | We stay positive | We embrace accountability, and we champion results.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Head of Leasing, managing leasing professionals across a national platform in 25 states.
  • Develop and implement asset-specific leasing strategies for stabilized, value-add, and opportunistic retail assets to drive NOI and maximize investor returns throughout US portfolio.
  • Leverage an established network of national retailers, franchises, brokers, and tenant representatives to source new prospects and execute anchor, junior anchor, and inline leases.
  • Recruit, mentor, and directly manage the internal leasing team (including Directors, Managers and Associates). Set clear individual performance metrics, foster a high-accountability sales culture, and actively coach team members on complex deal structuring, negotiation tactics, and relationship management to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Select, contract, and actively manage third-party leasing brokerage teams. Establish clear performance metrics, holding teams accountable to leasing timelines and pro-forma targets.
  • Oversee and collaborate on the underwriting, structuring, and final negotiation of complex retail leases, including specialized clauses (e.g., co-tenancy, exclusives, percentage rent, kick-outs, and radius restrictions).
  • Partner with Asset Management to align leasing activity with property business plans on an on-going basis.
  • Assist Investments during due diligence by validating market assumptions, market rents, and tenant creditworthiness.
  • Review and analyze lease economics using Excel. Present financial analyses, Net Present Value (NPV) calculations, and tenant credit profiles to the Investment team for approval.
  • Report directly to and work closely with the EVP of Real Estate Operations and Strategy to ensure investor returns and company goals and objectives are met.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8–12+ years of sophisticated commercial real estate leasing experience, with a strict focus on retail assets (strip centers, power centers, lifestyle centers, or urban retail). Experience within a PE firm, REIT, or top-tier institutional developer is highly preferred.
  • Proven history of closing deals with major national and regional retail tenants, with a deep understanding of current retail market trends and experiential retail shifts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for underwriting lease economics and calculating financial returns and deal metrics.
  • Expert understanding of retail lease language, legal structures, and the financial impact of restrictive covenants.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. An MBA or MS in Real Estate is a plus.
  • Must be passionate about managing and developing a high performing team.
COMPANY CULTURE NOTE

As a private equity firm, we operate in a fast-paced, growing, high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who possesses an "owner’s mindset," thrives under performance-driven metrics, and can seamlessly pivot between high-level investment strategy and granular lease negotiations.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Opportunity to build your own team.
  • Generous paid time off policy.
  • Company sponsored medical, dental and vision insurance.
