POSITION SUMMARY

Provides all duties as required as part of the Information Technology department to maintain and enhance systems support service in support of customer requirements and Integraโ€™s goals and initiatives. Proactively identifies what needs to be developed, how it needs to be developed and establishes appropriate timelines, involving the appropriate key stakeholders as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Master an understanding of our business model and the relation to our current data systems.
  • Maintain current applications with bug fixes and make enhancements as required.
  • Ownership of several applications with abilities to design/implement new features and bring team members to same level of proficiency with mentoring.
  • Document initial design, bug fixes, and enhancements for applications.
  • Effectively work with vendors to observe demonstration of systems software.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing, improve existing computer systems, and suggest other possible solutions.
  • Confer with coworkers of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data can best be summarized, and desired formatting for reports.
  • Study current information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required.
  • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system.
  • Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development.
  • Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Education: Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred; however, a combination of education and experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities and functions have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.

Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in PL/SQL, Java/Javascript, and Oracle Application development required.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office applications and other computer products and programs.
  • Proficient in Oracle database development utilizing packages, procedures, functions, views and triggers.
  • Must possess a strong ability to complete each of the following:
    1. Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
    2. Read, analyze, and interpret technical user/administration manuals on networks, personal computers, operating systems, or other manuals associate with job duties.
    3. Interpret a loosely defined feature/request and interact with stakeholders to develop this into a solution that meets requirements.
    4. Decipher, enhance, and develop Oracle ADF platform applications utilizing Jdeveloper, Java Programming, Java Script, and Groovy expression language.
    5. Decipher, enhance, and develop Oracle Application Express (APEX) applications utilizing PL/SQL, and JavaScript.
    6. Support additional languages such as Perl, Python.
    7. Support Oracle Fusion, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Discoverer, and Oracle Database servers.
    8. Effectively and collaboratively function as a team lead for projects and assign tasks/drive project to completion.
  • Critical thinking skills and excellent communications skills are essential.
