Job description

We are Fresh. Together let's build the future. With partners and clients, we practice strategy, design, development, and engineering to harness the power of technology and create what's next.

Our cross-disciplinary approach blends human ingenuity and technology, empowering us to meet uncertainty with confidence. What got us to today won't get us to tomorrow, so we test our assumptions and always strive for growth. From the products we build to the partners we collaborate with, we believe people make the difference.

And we do so as a workforce representative of the communities we serve, understanding that a diverse workforce strengthens our organization. We value diversity and support a positive and welcoming environment where all of our employees can thrive.

Why join Fresh?

Fresh Consulting is a fast-paced, design-led, software development and hardware engineering company, offering end-to-end services to help companies innovate. We bring together amazing UX designers, sophisticated developers, digital strategists, and top-notch engineers to help companies create fresh experiences that connect humans, systems, and machines. As we continue to grow, our internal teams need to grow with us—and that starts with you. See more at freshconsulting.com.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruiting for Fresh's internal hiring needs across three distinct talent areas: hardware engineering (mechanical, electrical, robotics, firmware), digital (software development, UX design, digital strategy), and internal services (operations, finance, marketing, people, and administrative functions). You bring a thoughtful, consultative approach to hiring managers and candidates alike, and you can credibly speak to the technical depth of Fresh's work across disciplines. In this role, you will:

  • Own the entire recruiting lifecycle—sourcing, resume review, phone screens, interviews, offer negotiation, hire, and retention—for corporate and internal roles across hardware, digital, and internal services teams
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and department leads to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and build hiring plans aligned to headcount and growth goals
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to distinct talent markets, from robotics engineers to UX designers to finance and operations professionals
  • Write, post, and manage job descriptions and requisitions from open through close
  • Maintain accurate, timely candidate data in the ATS (JazzHR) and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and other recruiting metrics
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Fresh, delivering an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our values
  • Assist with candidate onboarding and partner with the People team to ensure smooth new-hire transitions
  • Support and attend recruitment and networking events, university events, and industry meetups
  • Mentor junior recruiting team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of Fresh's recruiting processes and tools
We want you to have
  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with at least some experience recruiting in-house / corporate (agency-only backgrounds considered with strong technical depth)
  • Proven track record of finding, hiring, and retaining top talent across multiple disciplines
  • Understanding of software development environments (frameworks/languages, frontend vs. backend) and familiarity with hardware/engineering roles (mechanical, electrical, firmware, robotics) — or the demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on new technical domains
  • Experience recruiting for corporate and business functions (finance, operations, marketing, HR) in addition to technical roles
  • Strong hiring manager partnership skills: the ability to consult, push back, and guide stakeholders through the hiring process
  • Ability to work independently with little or no guidance while managing multiple concurrent requisitions
  • Experience working with complex databases and/or applicant tracking systems (JazzHR a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, proactive, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn and pick up new skill sets quickly
  • Desire and ability to take initiative and lead projects while providing excellent customer service
  • Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills
  • Creative/design and/or engineering recruiting experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree highly desired

We're big believers in empowering our team to do their best work by offering

  • High integrity, values-driven Executive Leadership Team
  • Competitive salary and benefits plan
  • HSA / HRA options to medical plans
  • Employee insurance premiums paid by Fresh
  • Competitive time-off plans
  • Wellness program
  • 401K with partial matching
  • Training and development programs
  • Daily catered lunch
  • Partnerships with interesting and engaging clients who align with our values
  • Fun and collaborative work environment with a focus on growth

For a Washington-State-based role, the base salary hiring range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Equal employment opportunity: All qualified persons will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, familial status, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability for which a reasonable accommodation can be made, or any other status protected by law. Assistance will be gladly provided upon request for any applicant with sensory or non-sensory disabilities.
