The role of LMFT is fully remote, which provides flexibility and comfort in delivering therapeutic services. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, abilities, and behaviors, employing methods such as interviews and direct observation.
• Integrate diverse data—including social, medical, and psychotherapeutic information—to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Establish and monitor both short-term and long-term treatment objectives, adjusting strategies based on patient progress and feedback.
• Facilitate patient exploration of feelings and behaviors through supportive conversations and therapeutic intervention techniques.
• Design and manage treatment programs, including psychotherapy sessions, crisis intervention, skill training, and psychoeducation focused on addressing mental health challenges.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert consultation and collaborative support to other healthcare professionals within the organization, promoting compassionate care rooted in psychological insights.
• Stay informed on legal and professional standards within the counseling field and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The LMFT position primarily focuses on providing therapeutic services to a varied and complex patient population, ranging from individuals grappling with anxiety and depression to those facing chronic pain and end-of-life issues. Our therapists also support patients dealing with addictions and interpersonal concerns, making every interaction an opportunity to facilitate healing and positive change.

• Must hold a current California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, providing therapy to a diverse patient demographic.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are strongly preferred.

Experience working in a community health clinic or a similar setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment planning, especially in a remote environment, will enhance your success in this role.
