Key Responsibilities

  • Document all client interactions, including clinical assessments and progress notes, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Engage in crisis intervention, providing immediate support to clients who may be experiencing acute distress or episodes of instability.
  • Regularly evaluate client progress towards their treatment goals and collaborate with clients to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Consult with family members and support systems to discuss treatment approaches and facilitate effective discharge planning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide therapy services primarily to diverse clients from various backgrounds, including individuals and families facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your role will involve understanding the unique needs of each client, ensuring that interventions are culturally competent and respectful of their individuality.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in an outpatient clinical setting, providing therapeutic services to diverse populations.
  • Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Experience
