Job description

Kearney & Company is seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Apps Professional to design, develop, and optimize custom business applications that streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and improve business outcomes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate needs into technical functionality.
  • Integrate Power Apps with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and other data sources.
  • Ensure solutions follow best practices for security, scalability, governance, and performance.
  • Create dashboards and reports in Power BI when needed to support application insights.
  • Manage application lifecycle: testing, deployment, updates, and production support.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Work with IT and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational standards and digital strategy.
  • Design, build, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
  • Develop automated workflows and integrations using Power Automate and connectors.
  • Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing Power Apps solutions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years experience building and supporting Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services, Azure, SharePoint Online, and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and common integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of application governance, role-based security, environment strategies, and ALM.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an U.S. security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Power Platform certification(s).
  • Experience with Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse architecture.
  • Understanding of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or other cloud services.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices.

The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
