What is a Microsoft Partner Remote?

A Microsoft Partner Remote is an individual or company that collaborates with Microsoft to deliver products, solutions, or services, and operates remotely rather than on-site at a Microsoft office. These partners may specialize in areas such as cloud computing, software development, IT consulting, or technical support, and work with clients to implement Microsoft technologies. Being remote allows these partners to serve clients worldwide, leveraging Microsoft’s resources and support to provide high-quality solutions and services.

What are some common challenges Microsoft Partners face when working remotely, and how can they be addressed?

Microsoft Partners working remotely often encounter challenges such as coordinating across different time zones, maintaining effective communication with clients and team members, and staying updated on Microsoft's evolving technologies. To address these, it's helpful to establish clear communication protocols, utilize collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, and schedule regular check-ins. Additionally, participating in Microsoft’s partner programs and training resources can help you stay informed and connected within the broader partner network.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Microsoft Partner working remotely, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Microsoft Partner in a remote setting, you need deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services, strong business acumen, and relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform. Proficiency in Microsoft Partner Center, collaboration tools like Teams, and CRM systems is essential. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and relationship-building skills help drive customer success and foster strategic partnerships. These capabilities enable effective solution delivery, client engagement, and business growth in a virtual environment.

Job description

Head of Paid Media - Google Specialist

At MVR Digital, we are scaling fast and looking for a Google specialist to lead our paid media function. This role combines Google Ads mastery with account leadership: you will own strategy, execution, and optimization on Google as your core specialty, while maintaining a deep working understanding of paid social channels (Meta, TikTok) and Connected TV to guide full-funnel strategy across the team. You will also serve as the primary strategic and client contact on a subset of accounts, and act as the quality gatekeeper for paid media across the agency.

About MVR Digital
MVR Digital is a progressive performance marketing agency with hubs in NYC, Chicago, and Denver. We partner with emerging and growth stage brands to drive profitable growth. Recognized by Adweek as one of the Fastest Growing Agencies in 2023, we specialize in full funnel paid media across Google, Meta, Microsoft, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Connected TV. Our team blends analytics with creativity, ownership with innovation, and always centers client success.

What You'll Do

  • Own Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube strategy, execution, and daily optimization as your core specialty
  • Maintain deep working knowledge of paid social channels (Meta, TikTok) and CTV, and apply that understanding to guide full-funnel strategy and team decisions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for 2 to 3 client accounts, owning strategy conversations, performance reviews, and day to day communication
  • Review and QA campaign builds from other buyers before launch and provide actionable feedback across all channels
  • Manage budget pacing, structured testing, and bid strategy across accounts, including large scale budgets of $100K+/month
  • Analyze performance by audience, keyword, placement, and funnel stage to guide roadmaps and recommendations
  • Proactively flag risks, diagnose underperformance, and implement fixes with clear hypotheses and expected impact
  • Build reporting cadence, craft clear performance narratives, and prepare client-facing decks with insights and recommendations
  • Partner with creative to brief assets that match funnel needs and testing plans across Google, paid social, and CTV
  • Partner with analytics and technical teams to ensure clean tracking, UTM hygiene, GA4 and GTM accuracy, and workable attribution
  • Mentor media buyers and contribute to shared processes, templates, and documentation

What You'll Bring

  • Five or more years of hands-on Google Ads experience (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube) in an agency or high-growth environment. This is the core requirement.
  • Proven ownership of $100K+/month budgets on Google with clear ROAS and CPA improvement
  • Deep working understanding of paid social channels (Meta, TikTok) and Connected TV, enough to guide strategy and QA other buyers' work even if Google remains your primary hands-on focus
  • Experience managing client relationships directly and leading strategy calls or performance reviews independently
  • Fluency with GA4, Looker Studio, and attribution concepts
  • Sharp analytical skills and strong attention to detail, especially in QA and tracking
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, native or bilingual-level fluency, with the ability to lead client strategy calls independently and without translation support
  • Bias for ownership, thoughtful pushback, and clear decision making

Our Values

  • Act Like an Owner: take responsibility and drive outcomes without waiting to be asked
  • Clarity Over Complexity: streamline for speed and understanding
  • Serve Clients' Best Interest: build trust and guide clients toward what actually works
  • We Win Together We Lose Together: collaborate across teams and share accountability
  • Data-Informed Human-Led: balance analytics with judgment, context, and empathy

Why Join MVR Digital

  • Lead strategy on high growth accounts where your impact is clear and measurable
  • Work directly with clients as a trusted strategic partner, not just an executor
  • Collaborate with strong creative, strategy, and analytics partners
  • Remote first culture with supportive leadership and a kind, ambitious team
  • Career incubator: grow across platforms, industries, and leadership

Perks and Benefits

  • Paid time off
  • Paid company holidays
  • Flexible Fridays
  • Remote first collaboration
  • Quarterly performance bonus potential

Role Details

  • Full time, contract
  • Compensation: $6000-9000/month USD, plus potential for quarterly bonuses
