Microsoft Architect
Summary
The Microsoft Architect will collaborate with customers, Management, and peers to design, configure, and support the entire Microsoft 365 Suite of hosted solutions.  This includes Entra ID, Hybrid Exchange, Exchange Online, Office 365, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, and Teams, as well as phone systems, badge entry systems, mergers/acquisitions, disaster recovery, and communication services.  Responsibilities encompass the specification, installation, configuration, and testing of services; establishing guidelines and standards; supporting the existing infrastructure and users; and providing project support as directed.  This position requires excellent internal customer-facing skills at all levels and an outstanding desk-side manner.
Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Operations.
  • Excellent Microsoft 365/Exchange troubleshooting skills.
  • A broad knowledge of all aspects of enterprise technologies.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in designing, implementing, and supporting the following technologies:
    • Entra ID/Active Directory Hybrid;
    • AAD Connect;
    • Conditional Access Policies;
    • Enterprise Applications;
    • App Registrations;
    • SharePoint/OneDrive;
    • Privileged Identity Management;
    • RBAC;
    • Windows Server;
    • Group Policy;
    • DNS (Public/Private);
    • Exchange Online/Hybrid;
    • Proofpoint Email Scanning & Archiving;
    • Email Authentication DMARC/SPF/DKIM;
    • Intune (all aspects of iOS/Android/Windows/Mac, App, Security, Device Configuration);

    • Networking/Firewalls;

  • Experience in environments supporting more than 700 users.

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technology discipline.
  • Experience in Finance or Financial Technology business.
