Job description

We are seeking an experienced Intune / Application Packaging Engineer to manage enterprise application packaging, software deployment, and endpoint management. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Win32 application packaging, PowerShell automation, and Windows endpoint management.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, package, test, deploy, and maintain Win32 applications using Microsoft Intune.
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager environments.
  • Develop and maintain application packaging and software deployment processes for Windows endpoints.
  • Create deployment configurations, detection rules, requirements, dependencies, and installation/uninstallation scripts.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate application packaging, deployment, configuration, and endpoint management tasks.
  • Troubleshoot application installation, deployment failures, compliance issues, and endpoint-related problems.
  • Manage application lifecycle activities, including packaging, testing, deployment, updates, and retirement.
  • Support Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoint environments.
  • Monitor deployment status, identify failures, and implement corrective actions to improve deployment success rates.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and support teams to coordinate software deployments.
  • Maintain technical documentation for application packages, deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in application packaging and software deployment.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Intune administration and endpoint management experience.
  • Strong experience creating and deploying Win32 application packages through Intune.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Proven troubleshooting experience with application deployment and endpoint management.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
  • Experience implementing Windows Autopilot.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Experience migrating application deployment processes from SCCM/MECM to Intune.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments with thousands of endpoints.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security, compliance, and device management best practices.
