Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Microsoft Intune Engineer to support and enhance a large scale Windows endpoint environment within a highly regulated financial services organization. This role is responsible for the administration, engineering, and optimization of Microsoft Intune and modern device management solutions across enterprise Windows 10/11 endpoints.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!.
This role is located at a client site in Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Columbia, SC, Birmingham, AL or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
CGI is seeking a Microsoft Intune Engineer to support and enhance a large scale Windows endpoint environment within a highly regulated financial services organization. This role is responsible for the administration, engineering, and optimization of Microsoft Intune and modern device management solutions across enterprise Windows 10/11 endpoints.
The ideal candidate will serve as a senior technical contributor, driving endpoint configuration, security hardening, device lifecycle management, application deployment, operating system servicing, patch management, and identity integration. The role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Intune administration, Windows endpoint engineering, PowerShell automation, and troubleshooting complex issues spanning devices, operating systems, policies, and identity services.
Responsibilities include managing endpoint configurations, supporting compliance and audit initiatives, remediating vulnerabilities, developing automation solutions, performing root cause analysis, and creating standardized documentation and operational runbooks that improve supportability, scalability, and operational readiness.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 5+ years of hands on Microsoft Intune administration and engineering experience. Must be able to demonstrate senior level expertise and the ability to operate as an independent technical contributor.
. Expert level administration and engineering experience with Microsoft Intune, including policy creation, device enrollment, compliance management, application deployment, and configuration management.
. Strong background in Modern Device Management (MDM) for large enterprise environments.
. Extensive experience managing and supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoints throughout the device lifecycle.
. Hands on expertise with Windows Autopilot deployment and provisioning processes.
. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integration, identity management, and endpoint authentication.
. Experience with Windows servicing, patch management, and vulnerability remediation practices.
. Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills for endpoint administration and operational efficiency.
. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across device, operating system, identity, and policy layers.
. Experience implementing endpoint security controls, compliance policies, and security hardening standards.
. Familiarity with audit support, regulatory compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
. Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and drive long term corrective actions.
. Experience developing technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
. Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineering, security, and support teams.
. Ability to function as an independent senior level contributor with minimal oversight.
Desired Skillset:
Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable, including:
