Reports To: Systems Support Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: $20.13 per hour

Position Summary

The Systems Support Technician provides technical support within a 24/7/365 warehouse and distribution environment. This role ensures continuous operation by troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues across multi-temperature facilities (ranging from -20°F to ambient conditions), including areas with equipment elevated over 30 feet. The primary mission is to maintain system

functionality and minimize downtime to support warehouse operations at all times.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor, respond to, and resolve IT support emails and service requests
  • Provide phone-based technical support and troubleshooting
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot company-issued mobile phones
  • Support desktop and laptop computers, including:
  • Operating system and application installation
  • Routine maintenance and updates
  • Data recovery
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Anti-virus implementation and malware/spyware removal
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers (laser, thermal, and impact)
  • Resolve Microsoft embedded operating system configuration issues
  • Support mobile and wireless devices
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot network devices and infrastructure
  • Process approved IT request forms, including:
  • Creating warehouse software user accounts
  • Creating and managing domain/Active Directory accounts
  • Creating and linking shared folders
  • Relocating users and hardware within the facility
  • Modifying user access within warehouse systems
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and equipment tracking
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant IT certifications preferred
  • Prior professional IT experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications and operating systems
  • Experience supporting network infrastructure preferred
  • Knowledge of warehouse or distribution operations is a plus
  • Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and early mornings


Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • 24/7 warehouse/distribution center environment
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including freezer conditions (-20°F)
  • Ability to work around heavy moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, scissor lifts) in a fast-paced setting
  • Work may involve elevated areas (equipment over 30 feet high)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
