Job description

Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (Top Secret Cleared) to work in our Washington, DC office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are seeking a cleared System Administrator to support secure system administration, endpoint management, user support, patching, monitoring, documentation, and operational sustainment for classified and sensitive law enforcement, national security, and criminal justice missions within the National Security Business Unit.

The System Administrator will serve as an operational support specialist responsible for maintaining system health, resolving incidents and service requests, supporting endpoint and application administration, improving documentation, and collaborating across infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, application, and service desk teams. The System Administrator will support secure system administration, endpoint management, user support, patching, monitoring, documentation, and operational sustainment for classified and sensitive environments serving law enforcement, national security, and criminal justice missions. This role supports day-to-day operations across servers, workstations, virtual desktops, applications, collaboration tools, and enterprise support platforms.

The System Administrator will also support team development and account growth by mentoring junior staff, improving documentation, identifying recurring operational pain points, and recommending automation, service improvement, endpoint modernization, and customer experience enhancements. Responsibilities * Administer, monitor, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, virtual desktops, applications, and enterprise platforms. * Support endpoint imaging, software installation, hardware setup, user support, and operational sustainment.

* Respond to incidents, service requests, escalations, and recurring technical issues. * Maintain SOPs, operational checklists, knowledge articles, and system documentation. * Support patch management, vulnerability remediation, backup/restore activities, and system monitoring.

* Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, application, and service desk teams. * Mentor junior administrators, endpoint support staff, and service desk escalation personnel. * Identify automation opportunities, service improvements, endpoint modernization needs, and ways to reduce ticket volume.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 Required Skills * Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; TS/SCI preferred. * 5+ years of system administration, endpoint support, or enterprise IT operations experience. * Experience with Windows Server, Linux, desktop support, patching, scripting, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

* Knowledge of ITSM ticketing, service request management, incident response, and change management. * Ability to maintain operational documentation and follow secure administration procedures. * Strong customer service and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desired Skills * Security+, Microsoft, Linux, VMware, ITIL, cloud, or related certification. * Experience with BigFix, Splunk, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Exchange, SQL, VDI, or enterprise monitoring tools. * Experience supporting classified, law enforcement, national security, criminal justice, defense, or intelligence environments.
