Pathologists

Job Duties: Examine tissue specimens, blood samples, and other bodily fluids to identify abnormalities, diseases, or conditions. Utilize various laboratory techniques, including microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and molecular testing, to analyze specimens and reach accurate diagnoses. Manage and oversee clinical laboratories, ensuring quality control, adherence to protocols, and accurate reporting of results. Collaborate with laboratory staff, including medical technologists and technicians, to maintain efficient and effective laboratory operations. Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, and clinicians, to integrate pathology findings into patient care and treatment plans. Provide consultations and communicate diagnostic results to clinicians and other members of the healthcare team. Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure accurate and reliable diagnostic results.
