Company Description
Our PAT (Probe, Assembly, & Test) Operations Group is looking for a talented Staff Test Engineer to join our team in our Palm Bay, FL office. Our team develops and manufactures Radiation Hardened ICs to service the Space Industry. You will work on a production test floor onsite, and duties will include reviewing test methodologies, analyzing test hardware schematics, data analysis, and evaluating test solutions for production readiness. You will also be responsible for transferring test solutions from legacy platforms, supporting the production test team, and debugging test programs.
Job Description
  • Transfer test solutions from legacy tester to Eagle or Flex testers.
  • Includes generating test hardware and software
  • Analyze test hardware schematics on existing products for revenue support
  • Drive improvements in test methodology by implementing industry standard best practices and reliability strategies.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the test software/hardware debugging and help to mentor junior team members.
  • Identify yield enhancement opportunities and develop projects to resolve them
  • Experience with debugging and developing test programs for analog products on Eagle and Flex test systems. (ETS364, Teradyne microFlex, or similar platform preferred).
  • Intermediate to advanced programming capability [Python, C/C++, and/or SQL]
  • Experience with basic Unix / Linux environments
  • Understanding of basic statistics and JMP data analytics skills (i.e. Mean, Std. Dev, SPC, CPK, GR&R, ANOVA)
  • Familiarity with Gage Reproducibility and Repeatability (GR&R) studies
  • Familiarity with performing transient analysis/spike check/deglitching on automated test solutions

Qualifications
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Candidate must possess a minimum bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or MicroElectronic Engineering
  • 5-10+ Years experience in test engineering role, preferably using automated test equipment in the semiconductor industry
  • Candidate should be self-motivated and conscientious
  • Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidate must have good presentation skills.
