POSITION SUMMARY

A production machine operator is responsible to accurately process blend into a capsule or tablet form according to written instruction, setting up and operating production equipment, and in compliance with cGMPs and SOPs. Support, build, and promote a positive and collaborative culture across all teams.


Full time position: Schedule Monday - Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Friday as needed)


KEY JOB DUTIES

  • Operate small, large, and high-speed tablet press.
  • Operate high-speed encapsulator.
  • Able to perform a daily preventive maintenance on the production equipment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot machines and make minor adjustments on all machinery and equipment.
  • Utilize the tablet press daily and maintain paperwork in a neat and accurate manner.
  • Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75 + pounds with assistance, on a daily basis.
  • Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, stoop, climb, or perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
  • Able to understand milligram, gram, and kilo scales.
  • Able to perform basic math calculations utilizing a calculator.
  • Perform all in-process quality control checks during production runs.
  • Interface with Production Manager, Supervisor, and Production Leads on a daily basis.
  • Clean machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Able to train other production operators on safe and proper manner.
  • Utilize Redzone for communications, issues and create ideas/issues.
  • Run Redzone huddles.
  • Suggest ways to improve productivity and efficiencies.


COMPANY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to recognize audible hazards.
  • Perform other projects / duties as assigned.
  • Maintain good attendance.
  • Follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties.


WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUACTION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One or more years' experience
