Position Summary:

UNC received a federal grant from the National Science Foundation titled "Collaborative Research: An Exploration of the Impact of Molecular Representations on Organic Chemistry Students' Problem Solving." This postdoctoral position is part of that grant to support the goals and outcomes of the grant. 

Job Duties:

Serve as lead in collecting, managing, and analyzing data related to faculty experiences with electrostatic potential maps in their organic instruction- essential, 60%
Serve as lead in running faculty workshops on representations in organic instruction- essential, 20%
Serve as project manager to oversee logistical aspects of the project - essential, 5%
Present and publish findings from the study - essential, 10%
Attend grant project meetings - essential, 5%

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD or ABD in ChemistryEducation Research or related field with a dissertation topic in ChemistryEducation Research.
