Job Description
Do you have exceptional hand-eye coordination and experience working with precision components under a microscope? We are seeking an experienced Micro Assembly Technician to join a growing advanced manufacturing team in a clean, high-tech environment. In this highly specialized role, you'll assemble and inspect miniature electronic and photonic components using microscopes, precision tools, and advanced manufacturing techniques. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will directly contribute to producing high-quality products that meet demanding engineering and quality standards. Responsibilities
  • Perform precision assembly of miniature electronic and photonic components.
  • Work with extremely small components using microscopes and specialized precision tools.
  • Perform fine alignment, wire bonding, micro-soldering, and assembly operations as required.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality and engineering specifications.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering drawings.
  • Document production activities and report quality concerns or process deviations.
  • Support rework and repair of precision assemblies when necessary.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanroom, ESD, and safety compliance at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and quality-focused work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in precision assembly, microelectronics, semiconductor, medical device, aerospace, or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working under a microscope for extended periods is required.
  • Experience handling miniature or delicate components is required.
  • Experience with wire bonding, micro-soldering, photonics, fiber optics, or semiconductor manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings or technical schematics is a plus.
Skills
  • Excellent manual dexterity and exceptional hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to perform repetitive precision work with consistency and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills and production documentation experience.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements
