THE ROLE

SUMMARY
The position is responsible for maintaining, feeding and overseeing the operation of production machinery. This includes loading product on and off the machine, as well as loading programs and performing preventative maintenance.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the operation of machines.
  • Properly orient and place large stone tops and parts onto the machine
  • Stage and position product on the machine
  • Utilize job processing software to monitor production flow and maintain production schedules
  • Inspect and aligning correct tooling
  • Unload the machine with quality checks
  • Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently
  • Load router style tooling into machine as per order requirements
  • Physically lift and move substantial parts
  • Participate in production studies and improvements to improve efficiency
  • Accomplish production results by working with the machine team

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma
  • 2-4 years of experience in a production machinery environment
  • Some software and programming knowledge
  • Experience with cutting and polishing tools
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Good math skills


MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work while standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to move and carry substantial parts on varied surfaces
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to safely operate overhead crane
  • Ability to follow all safety requirements
  • Ability to use measuring tools
