Job description

Gibraltar, Inc. is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production Machinist to set up and operate manual machining equipment, including Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, saws, punch presses, drill presses, and other fabrication equipment. In this role, you will help produce quality parts and components, support daily production goals, complete quality inspections, and work safely as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.
What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, saws, punch presses, and drill presses.
  • Read blueprints and work instructions to machine, modify, finish, and inspect parts to quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment, make adjustments, complete routine maintenance, and communicate tooling or quality issues.
  • Support production schedules by completing work orders, maintaining records, replenishing materials, and assisting with inventory as needed.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to read blueprints, follow written and verbal instructions, and use basic math skills.
  • Hands-on mechanical ability, including creating, fixing, or repairing fixtures.
  • Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.
  • Experience operating a Forklift or current Forklift Operator's License
  • 2 years of experience using production machinery
