HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping our manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. You will support production by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facility systems while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, piping, electrical systems, and facility structures using specifications, blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, drills, hoists, cranes, and testing equipment to complete maintenance activities.

  • Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

  • Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired components using precision measuring instruments and OEM specifications.

  • Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, piping, and related system components.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.

  • Lubricate machinery, perform equipment setups, and support production changeovers as needed.

  • Complete maintenance work orders and respond to repair requests in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, logs, and records.

  • Follow all company policies, including GMPs, food safety requirements, PPE standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures, USDA regulations, and FDA requirements.

  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance shop tools, equipment, and safe operating procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, work orders, and technical documentation.

  • Strong math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, measurements, and practical algebra applications.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

  • Ability to utilize computerized maintenance management systems and ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to travel throughout production areas, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to work flexible schedules based on operational needs.

  • Commitment to safety, food quality, and regulatory compliance.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)

  • Vocational trade school certification or equivalent training in an electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance discipline.

  • Basic welding skills, including Arc, TIG, and MIG welding.

  • Bilingual communication skills.

  • Experience in high-volume food manufacturing or food processing environments.

  • Knowledge of frozen food production operations.

  • Experience working with ovens, fryers, freezers, coolers, batch cooking systems, and high-speed packaging equipment.

  • Familiarity with maintenance documentation, SOPs, downtime tracking, preventive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Understanding of probability, statistical analysis, and manufacturing performance metrics.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manufacturing, production, and office environments.

  • Exposure to refrigerated warehouse areas as well as high-temperature production and oven areas.

  • Frequent movement throughout production facilities, including climbing ladders and accessing elevated or rooftop locations.

  • Requires kneeling, crawling, bending, and working in confined spaces.

  • Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling of loads up to 75 pounds.

  • Work performed with minimal supervision and may require schedule flexibility to support production demands.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Pay range: $30.00 - $33.00 p/hr.

  • Shift: AM Shift 4:00am-1:30pm 6-7 days per week

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
