Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple’s consumer facing marketing. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences.
Our 360 creative practice operates at the intersection of world-class craft, digital platform strategy, media fluency, and editorial storytelling. We write our own briefs, identifying opportunities for the brand, and follow the process all the way through production and publishing. We work across product lines, platforms, and internal teams.
Description
We’re looking for a creative to lead ideation and execution, particularly around motion graphics, animation, and unique filming techniques. This role requires an understanding of the full process, with the ability to brainstorm and collaborate across all aspects of creative, including strategy, design, and writing. This role specifically will be the team’s foremost expert on all things that include motion or animation, while upholding the expectations of excellence in quality befitting Apple.","responsibilities":"Enduring cultural enthusiasm, inclusive of keeping up with media, arts, and social conversations online and off.
Maintaining an astute eye on Apple’s creative work across all touchpoints, including marketing, advertising, and messaging, both from our own brand and third-party voices.
Participation in team brainstorms and ideation processes, including collaborative iteration of net new ideas and independent work that is integrated within the larger group.
Creation of creative concepts, brought to life in visual and written formats, including static images and video compositions that can be utilized as proofs of concept.
Collaboration with production teams on the video creative process.
Execution of concepts at the speed and skill expected within editorial teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Creative leadership experience on-set and in post-production.
Fluency in media and social platforms.
End-to-end production fluency.
Understanding of cultural passion points and online communities.
High taste level and strong editorial instincts.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in media creation or related fields.
Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, with expertise in After Effects, as well as working knowledge of other animation software.
Portfolio of advertising and editorial work inclusive of original animations, motion graphics, and filmed material with a range of tonalities and topics.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $186,300 and $280,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
