Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic counseling sessions to clients using virtual platforms, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, adapting techniques to meet client needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment goals using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide holistic care and support for clients.
  • Participate in regular supervision and peer consultations to enhance clinical skills and ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training provided by Mice Healthcare.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve adults aged 18 and over, addressing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience or a willingness to work with the LGBTQIA+ community and men’s mental health issues, though these are not strict requirements. Your ability to provide culturally competent care will enhance our connection with diverse clients, fostering an inclusive environment.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Active LCSW license to practice in Texas is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of post-licensure professional experience in clinical counseling.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy.
  • Prior experience working with minoritized and diverse populations, fostering a commitment to inclusivity.
