• Build positive, trusting relationships with patients through empathetic engagement and active listening.
• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and inform treatment strategies.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific circumstances and therapeutic goals.
• Lead counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and adjustment disorders.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, referring clients to additional specialists or support services when needed.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge of best practices.

You will work primarily with a diverse population, including families and individuals facing a range of challenges such as emotional distress, relationship conflicts, and family dynamics. By employing a culturally sensitive approach, you will help clients navigate their unique situations, fostering a safe space for exploration and growth.

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in accordance with Florida state regulations.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or demonstrable experience in addiction counseling and addressing co-occurring disorders.
• Strong therapeutic skills, with the ability to motivate and engage clients in their treatment process effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience in a community health setting, providing services to a varied demographic.
• Knowledge and application of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment, specifically related to substance use disorders.
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

The salary for this full-time LMFT position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
