Position Overview

Creativity Mental Health Consulting, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families to facilitate open communication and foster a therapeutic alliance.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop personalized treatment plans that consider each client's unique circumstances and goals.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to client needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Family Systems Therapy.
  • Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring optimal care and outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous evaluation of client needs, offering referrals to additional specialists when necessary to further support their mental health journey.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and remaining current with best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The client base includes individuals, couples, and families, each coping with a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and stress management. Our commitment to individualized care ensures that each client receives tailored approaches, addressing their specific needs and helping them navigate their unique mental health landscapes.

Qualifications
  • Must possess an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required, demonstrating foundational knowledge and skills necessary for effective practice.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing therapy services to individuals and groups is essential to support diverse client needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time-management abilities to handle administrative tasks and manage a caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Proficient in specific therapeutic modalities such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, or Play Therapy.
  • Experience working with underrepresented populations or clients facing significant socio-economic challenges is a plus.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology to facilitate virtual therapy sessions effectively.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
