• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Work collaboratively to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address clients' unique mental health goals and challenges.
• Utilize data collection methods to monitor client progress over time, adjusting treatment strategies based on objective feedback and evolving needs.
• Provide crisis management services when clients are in distress, ensuring immediate support is offered to stabilize situations.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster a sense of community support among clients dealing with similar challenges, enhancing their journey towards healing.

The clients served at Balancing Marriage Life Family Therapy encompass a wide range of ages and backgrounds, including individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges related to mental health, relationships, and social behavior. Your role as an LMFT will be crucial in supporting clients through issues such as anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, and family conflict, helping them achieve their therapeutic objectives in a safe and nurturing environment.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) certification in Washington State.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience within a therapeutic or medical setting.
• Strong foundation in mental health practices and therapeutic techniques, particularly related to family dynamics.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills, enabling effective client interaction and documentation.
• Adept at working independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client progress.
• Familiarity with additional therapeutic methods, such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy or Play Therapy, enhancing treatment options for diverse client needs.

We offer a competitive compensation package for this full-time position, with a salary range of $100,000 – $105,000 annually.
