Position Overview

Mind Care Therapy Solutions is eager to welcome a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to our team. Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will undertake a variety of responsibilities essential for delivering quality mental health services:

  • Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients to foster an atmosphere of safety and growth.
  • Expertly diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized approaches.
  • Create tailored treatment plans reflecting the unique needs and situations of each patient and their families.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients, providing counseling and guidance, and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient documentation, ensuring organized and accurate record-keeping.
  • Engage in weekly supervision or peer consultation sessions to refine skills and enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Mind Care Therapy Solutions, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, life transitions, trauma, and other mental health issues. Your role will center on facilitating therapeutic conversations that empower clients to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build resilience, ultimately leading toward improved mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience providing individual and/or group therapy for a minimum of three years is necessary.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage caseloads effectively and maintain accurate patient records.
Preferred Experience

While the mandatory qualifications are essential, the ideal candidate may also demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Prior experience working with children and adolescents, along with their families.
  • A working knowledge of community resources to facilitate comprehensive patient care and referrals.
Compensation and Benefits
