Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Family Unity Counseling, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for couples and families.
• Facilitating therapy sessions that include both couples and individual meetings to address unique challenges.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues such as substance abuse, relationship conflicts, grief, and adjustment difficulties.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed to meet their evolving needs.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient interactions in our digital health records system.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including couples, families, adults, and adolescents facing various challenges. Your focus will include addressing issues such as:

• Alcohol abuse and addiction.
• Physical and psychological abuse recovery.
• Grief and loss.
• Conflict resolution among family members.
• Separation and divorce adjustment.
• Communication difficulties within families.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
