Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and screenings using evidence-based practices to evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring precise and tailored care plans.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs to address specific client concerns, goals, and progress, potentially incorporating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or family systems therapy.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing interactive techniques and therapeutic exercises to promote engagement and healing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to maintain a holistic approach to client care, participating in regular case consultations and supervision.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and fostering a supportive family environment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations regarding patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals and families grappling with issues related to relationship dynamics, communication struggles, and other mental health challenges. Our clientele ranges from couples seeking pre-marital counseling to families facing transitional difficulties, all with the goal of improving their interpersonal relationships and mental well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
• Completion of a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, providing a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills and establish trust with clients, fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
• An empathetic, understanding, and nonjudgmental attitude towards the diverse experiences our clients may face.
• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage time effectively, ensuring all administrative tasks and client needs are met efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting, adapting traditional therapeutic techniques to an online format effectively.
• Proficiency in a range of therapeutic modalities suited for family and marriage counseling, such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations and awareness of cultural competency in therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
