Key Responsibilities

The LMFT will play a critical role in assessing and treating clients through a variety of therapeutic methods tailored to their unique needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations to understand clients' challenges and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Delivering individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to foster personal growth, emotional healing, and improved mental health outcomes.
• Collaboratively establishing therapeutic goals with clients and diligently tracking progress to ensure effective treatment.
• Documenting client interactions and progress accurately within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Regular participation in team meetings and clinical supervision to continually enhance therapeutic skills and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT with our organization, you will primarily work with adult clients, and possibly adolescent populations, addressing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Your role is vital in providing specialized support that empowers clients to overcome personal obstacles and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• You must hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice as an LMFT within the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on individual and family therapy.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and an ability to adapt methodologies to the needs of your clients.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum experience required is two years, we appreciate applicants who bring additional experience, particularly in working with diverse populations and specific therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or family systems theory. Fluency in a second language is a plus, enhancing our ability to serve a broader client base.

Compensation and Benefits
