Martin Concrete Construction is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our growing Critical Projects Group supporting complex concrete construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex.


This is an exciting opportunity for a proven construction leader who excels at managing multiple projects, developing high-performing teams, and building strong client relationships. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of commercial concrete construction-from preconstruction through project closeout-while providing leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.


Our Critical Projects Group delivers complex concrete construction for data centers, power generation facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, manufacturing facilities, industrial operations, and other critical infrastructure projects.


This position is based in Dallas, Texas, and requires working onsite at active construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Travel may be required based on project assignments and contractual requirements.


What You'll Do

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead, manage, and coordinate multiple commercial concrete construction projects while collaborating closely with operations leadership, field teams, and clients to ensure successful project execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple commercial concrete construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
  • Collaborate with Field Operations Managers and the General Superintendent to ensure company protocols are followed.
  • Partner with Field Operations Managers and the General Superintendent to ensure quality, safety, scheduling, and customer expectations are achieved.
  • Ensure monthly pay requests and schedules of values are completed accurately.
  • Manage project cost tracking, including sequential costing, budget monitoring, and cost code accuracy.
  • Perform job cost analysis and monitor overall financial performance.
  • Communicate with executive leadership to develop strategic programs and project goals.
  • Create and manage project budgets and expenses.
  • Monitor project performance, including schedule, quality, safety, labor costs, budget, customer satisfaction, and overall project outcomes.
  • Partner with the Preconstruction Department to help secure future projects.
  • Oversee project turnover from the Estimating Department to the Project Management team during the preconstruction phase.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers while fostering opportunities for professional growth.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Martin Concrete Construction and the client for complex project issues.
  • Review project contracts and ensure compliance throughout project execution.
